Never before in history has an effort been put forth to produce the finest single action revolver.
To start, this entire gun is made of solid 4140 steel; there are no inferior cast or metal injection molded parts used. No other maker of this type of gun can make such a claim. Additionally, the precision machining equipment used in the manufacture of our guns is the absolute finest in the industry and because the machining is done in-house, quality is carefully controlled. Even the very best parts are of little value without the hands and minds of experienced gunsmiths. The master gunsmiths here at Standard Manufacturing are versed in making iconic guns that include the Ansley H. Fox, Parker, and Model 21 double shotguns.
Upon close inspection of our Single Action Revolver, you will immediately recognize that this gun is something very special. With its perfect fit between all of the parts to the hand polishing and stoning. From the deep blued finishes to the traditional bone and charcoal color case hardening on all of the metal surfaces.Even all of the screws are perfectly timed from north to south. Our Single Action Revolver is true to form, which is to say the man who designed this gun originally would immediately recognize it as his own, as would the legends of the Wild West.
These guns are available for immediate delivery starting at $1,895, plus $35 shipping and handling to your local FFL dealer. As a special introductory and limited time offer, we are providing a lifetime warranty on these Single Action Revolvers.

I'm very happy with my Standard mfg revolver. I almost purchased a SAA Colt, but ran across these revolvers. I don't think anyone in the wold match's the quality and time put into a revolver. No matter how much you read of watch video's on these guns, it doesn't compare to you picking it up and holding it in your hand and seeing it with your own eye's.
thanks, Standard mfg for all the time and perfection your team put into such a remarkable firearm. Well worth the price.
Beautiful example of American craftsmanship with amazing colors. Very pleased with entire transaction.
Would I recommend their product: Yes. I cannot rate the product a 4, so I would rate it a 5. Their customer relations, advertising and marketing, and Warranty verbiage could use improvement. Will I buy from them again? Yes, particularly since my expectations have been tempered with reality.
I was pleased with the obvious solid build, fine finish, and solid lock-up. Easily on par with my USFAs. The stocks were of Turkish Walnut – less impressive than the richly figured American Walnut on all the stock photos in my opinion. I’ll probably pursue replacing them at one point. After reading some reviews after accepting the revolver for delivery, I found some minor cosmetic imperfections – stamped address line on top of barrel almost buffed away on “Standard”, hammer is developing a rub or two in the clear coat and case color hardening, tiny spot of “fire blue” void on side of the trigger, and one can see on the underside of the trigger frame where an extra step that was noted on the earlier guns was reworked and machined flush and polished before bluing. No show stoppers. My firing pin was not bent slightly to account for misalignment that was noted on the first few revolvers, so it appears Standard Manufacturing is listening to feedback and improving their product. Nonetheless, this is one of the best looking and solidly made Single Action Revolvers I have handled. I believe nothing is perfect, but it was obvious that on delivery, Standard Manufacturing lived up to their claim that the gun left the factory with no handling imperfections. I plan not to focus on the tiny cosmetic points mentioned, and to appreciate the gun.
At the range, I found the gun would have an occasional misfire from the cylinder bolt notch spinning just past bolt engagement, resulting in offset primer strikes. I’m glad the gun didn’t fire in that condition. I believe this ended up causing slight nicks on the bolt notches on the side opposite the lead/approach to the botch notches. Trying to figure this out, I turned the cylinder slightly to lock it at one point, which may have contributed to minor turn line segments (not through the bluing). Note – I always fully cock the hammer after loading the revolver to lower it slowly after pulling the trigger on an empty chamber, no half cock lowering, so I do not create lines or rings on the cylinder. Had I understood what was going on earlier, I would have stopped firing before finish shooting the 50 round box. Through researching on my own, I agreed with Standard Manufacturing that the timing was indeed correct (they shoot each gun before it leaves the factory) as the bolt was starting to leave normal wear marks on the tip of the bolt notch ramps from the 50 rounds I put through it at the range, and getting better acclimated after the fact with snap caps. One simply has to cock the hammer deliberately and the gun will function properly every time. It’s not a Cowboy Action tuned gun, with an early bolt drop, it is more for casual enjoyment and appreciation on the range in my opinion, which is what I was looking for anyway. And it is accurate and shoots to point-of-aim for me at 7 yards with American Eagle 225 grain jacketed soft points.
Overall, I am very pleased with the gun despite the minor and somewhat subjective cosmetics. I leave 4 stars instead of 5 because I believe Standard Manufacturing may consider the following feedback to improve their customer’s expectations – 1) Rewrite the advertisement copy to be more factual and less fantastical. They might want to mention how the revolvers are timed to emulate historic specifications, not modern applications. 2) Rewrite the Warranty under Single Action FAQs to be more factual and identify the conditions under they will offer a full refund. 3) Deliver stocks more consistent with stock photos. Turkish Walnut may be available through their parent company, Connecticut Shotgun Manufacturing, however, if it does not match the highly figured presentation of the those depicted in the stock photos, please do not use them. 4) When communicating with customers, particularly when cylinder locking issues such as those I experienced occur, bring such important details as how the revolver is timed to their attention. As the leader in high quality authentic American made Single Action Revolvers, I believe it would be in their best interest to better manage their customer’s expectations, and share the knowledge.
I just received a sequentially numbered pair of these beauties. The color case finish is STUNNING! The quality of the overall fit and finish is top notch. I chose to upgrade with the single piece walnut grips - no regrets. They are beautiful as well. Just WOW! Absolutely worth the price in my opinion. Heirloom quality. I know my boys will be glad to have these some day.
Im actually new to owning a single action revolver. So after researching I decided to purchase this one. I am glad that i did make this one my choice. Although I did notice a couple of imperfections with mine. Other than that it is a nice firearm.
Received my Single Action after a short wait. Very pleased to now own such a quality revolver. The fit and finish are great and the case color and grips are beautiful. On the next dry day I'll be going to the range.
I just picked up my 7.5 inch single action and both myself and my dealer are floored by the attention to detail and quality craftsmanship that went into this firearm. Beautiful finish, well balanced and very well built with extremely tight lockup. Excellent customer service - the gunsmith who built my revolver responded to my inquiry personally.
Standard Mfg. has really revived a level of American craftsmanship that has been long lost. The quality of their customer service is only superseded by the quality of this firearm. Exceptionally well done.
